There's a regular shuttle service between the lodges and resort - check transfer times with resort reception.

Meal Included Includes dinner.

Enjoy a little sleep in and big buffet breakfast, then meet your Cool Dingo ranger-guide at the Jetty Hut at 9.30am (when the other Cool Dingo passengers arrive from the 9.00am ferry). After the introductions and a quick briefing, your 4WD adventure begins!

Your guide is a true Fraser guru and will not only take you to the island's most incredible spots, but also wow you with fascinating facts about the island's history, fauna and flora. Keep an eye out for dingoes! Your guide stays with you for the entire tour - we guarantee a fun and entertaining time or the cool dingo eats his hat!

Today we check out some of Fraser's coolest inland sights.

  • Basin Lake - first stop is beautiful Basin Lake - get up close and personal with the resident freshwater turtles!
  • Central Station - no trains or whistles here - just peaceful, ancient rainforest and the reminders of a former, once bustling logging camp.
  • Wanggoolba Creek - walk along the banks of this silent flowing creek which is surrounded by lush green rainforest and rare king ferns... it's just breathtaking.
  • Pile Valley - check out the giant Satinay trees - easily identifiable by their rich. corrugated bark - standing tall in the sub-tropical rainforest.
  • Lake McKenzie - with its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, Lake McKenzie is even prettier than the postcards. Enjoy a refreshing afternoon swim, take photos of small frogs on the reeds or walk the golden shores... before heading back to your base at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

Meal Included Includes buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and buffet dinner.

Today we've got an early start to explore Seventy-Five Mile Beach, the world's most photographed beach highway... and one that's also used as a runway for small planes!

  • Eli Creek - this is a great spot for a refreshing dip on a warm Fraser day! Float down this fast-flowing freshwater creek - which pours out 80 megalitres of water daily - to the seaside.
  • Maheno Shipwreck - washed ashore during a cyclone in 1935, this rusting wreck is one of Fraser Island's must-do photo stops... as the hulking wreck is slowly being swallowed by sand and tides.
  • The Pinnacles Coloured Sands - With all the colours of the rainbow (well just the reds, oranges, creams and ochres really) these vibrant sand cliffs are another favourite photo stop.  Ask your guide about the local Butchulla legend.
  • Indian Head - climb to the top of this rocky headland - one of the only rocky spots on the island - for awesome island views - both north and south.  This natural look out is a great place to spot sharks, rays, turtles and migrating humpback whales (Jul - Nov).
  • Champagne Pools - chill out in these bubbling ocean rock pools, you won't want to leave!

Air Fraser offers spectacular scenic flights over the island - book with your guide on tour (extra cost applies).

Meal Included Includes buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and buffet dinner.

The last day
After spending an extra night on Fraser to chill, enjoy an early buffet breakfast before your return to Brisbane. You'll need to catch the 7.50am Kingfisher Ferry to River Heads, to meet the 8.50am shuttle service arriving back in Brisbane at approximately 2.20pm.

Meal Included Includes buffet breakfast.

Please note - touring order and itinerary may vary due to tides, seasons and weather conditions.
